About Us 

Flourishing 8 Designs was born out of a deeply personal need and a passion for gardening. As a long-time plant lover, I found immense joy in nurturing my indoor oasis. However, living with Psoriatic Arthritis (PSA) made it increasingly difficult for me to handle heavy, traditional plant pots. The weight and awkwardness of these pots often exacerbated my symptoms, making what should have been a relaxing hobby into a challenging task.

 

Recognizing this struggle, my husband set out to find a solution. With a background in technology and a creative mindset, he began experimenting with 3D printing. His goal was simple: to create lightweight, durable, and beautiful planters that would allow me to continue enjoying my plants without the physical strain. After countless hours of designing and testing, we finally developed a range of planters that were not only easy to handle but also aesthetically pleasing.

What started as a personal project quickly caught the attention of friends and family. They loved the designs and the practicality of the planters, and soon we realized there was a broader market for our creations. Encouraged by this positive feedback, we decided to turn our solution into a business, and Flourishing 8 Designs was born.
